In December 2020 we came across a video on Chinese TikTok (Douyin / 抖音) that involved a man rescuing dogs from the meat trade in Guilin, China. Our Co-founder quickly messaged him asking how we can help.
Through research, we found that many organisations working in China rescue dogs from the meat trade and send them across the world, costing thousands of dollars, so we decided to help by finding local people to care for the dogs to save costs and make it more sustainable.
The dogs we rescued:

Unfortunately, there's many more dogs that need to be protected and with your support we can continue to save them. As of December 2020, we have saved three beautiful dogs from the meat trade in China.
We posted two of the videos using footage from the man we had spoken to on TikTok from the UK and they received over 300,000 views and thousands of comments with people expressing their anger towards people that abuse dogs.
So, we decided to do something about it. On the 12th of December we rescued three beautiful dogs from the meat trade in China. We have started a campaign to raise $10,000 to save the lives of fifty dogs,
see below on how you can donate and get involved!

Conservation is an integral part of our mission and through all of our projects, we aim to protect the ocean and trees. Our publications have reached millions worldwide through newspapers, online media and news. We also had a solo exhibition and book project in Nepal that highlights climate change.
Gorkha: In Focus started while working as a team leader with ICS in Nepal in 2017. While working in this rural community in the Himalayas, Jasper was inspired by the people he met and decided to tell their story about climate change and women's empowerment.
